Scandinavian women’s team won the bronze medal at the last European Championship while the men’s team won the seventh place.

Norwegian women’s team had the highest number of scoring goals (461) with the best percentage in the game (41,9%) at the last EURO in Lloret de Mar, two years ago.

Norwegian player Cathrine Ødegaard Korvald was the best shooter at World Championship in Brazil, in 2014 with 78 scored goals. Also, she was chosen for the best left wing of the tournament. Korvald reached the highest number of scoring points, 132 in total at the European Championship in Denmark, four years ago. She debuted for Norway in major competitions in Croatia, in 2011.

Goalkeeper Regina Gulbrandsen was one of the key players in the last World Championship. She defended very well in a shoot-out and helped her team to win a bronze medal.

Norwegian men’s team won a Fair play title at the last EURO in 2015. They were the second team in reaching points by using pirouette. Magnus Sondena, Chris Gulliksen and goalkeeper Simen Westby Johansen were key players in the team led by Kjetil Lundeberg.

Norwegian men’s team starts the European Championship in a match against Serbia while the women’s team will play against Ukraine.
